Connected AI

The sign-in did not open, or nothing happened after I added Studio

Adding Studio is step one; signing in is a separate step. In Claude Code type /mcp and choose Authenticate; in Codex run codex mcp login studio; in Grok turn studio on and press i. See Connecting Your AI App to Studio.

"This connection was not given access to ..." or a module is missing

Your connection only has the modules chosen when you connected. Disconnect it on the Connected AI page and connect again, and make sure the module is ticked on the Studio sign-in screen. Modules your workspace does not use, or your role cannot open, are never offered.

"... is turned off for this workspace"

That module is not on for your workspace. An admin can turn it on in Settings.

My AI says it cannot make changes

Check that Allow changes is on in Connected AI settings, and that you chose Look things up and make changes when connecting. Your role must also be able to make that change in Studio.

Something is "waiting for approval"

That action needs a person. Approve it in AI → Approvals.

"Too many requests" or a daily limit

Each person can make 60 requests a minute, and the workspace has a daily limit shown in the banner (it resets at midnight). Wait a moment, or ask an admin about more AI credits.

My AI does not know about something new

Start a new chat in your AI app, or disconnect and connect again, so it picks up Studio's newest abilities.

Names are missing (children, donors, form answers)

That data is hidden until an admin turns it on. See What Your AI Can and Cannot See.
