Each person connects their own AI app, with their own Studio sign-in. Your AI then works with your permissions.
The four steps
- Add Studio to your AI app. Go to AI → Connected AI and find Connect your AI. Pick your app on the left. Copy Your Studio address (it looks like
https://my.usestudio.app/mcp/your-workspace), or the command shown for terminal apps. - Sign in to Studio. Your app opens the Studio sign-in in your browser. Sign in as you normally do.
- Choose what it can do, then Allow. Pick Look things up or Look things up and make changes, then click Allow. You will see a purple "You're connected" page.
- Ask it something. Mention Studio so your AI knows where to look, for example "Using Studio, what projects are due this week?"
Step-by-step for your app
- Claude (web and desktop)
- ChatGPT
- Claude Code
- Codex
- Grok
- Cursor and VS Code
- Perplexity, Gemini, Viktor and other AI apps
Do I need a special command to use it?
No. Once connected, just mention Studio in what you ask. Your AI uses Studio on its own when the question is about your workspace.
After a Studio update
When Studio adds new abilities, start a new chat in your AI app (or disconnect and connect again) so it picks them up.
