Making Changes with Your AI

Connected AI

When Allow changes is on for your workspace and you chose Look things up and make changes when connecting, your AI can change records your role can change.

Say it the way you normally would

  • By name: "the Fall Retreat", "the Tuesday Men group", "project ELI-1003". You do not need ids.
  • "Me": "Assign me", "Add me to this group". Me always means the person who connected the AI. Assigning yourself never needs approval.
  • Other people by name or email: "Assign Ismael", "Add sam@church.org".

It asks when it is not sure

If a name matches more than one thing (two events called Fall Retreat, two groups called Youth, two people named Ana, or a workspace with more than one website), your AI lists them with what tells them apart (date, campus, leader) and asks you which one. It never picks for you.

Undo

Most changes can be undone: just ask "Undo that." Undo is refused if the record changed again since, so nobody's later work is overwritten. Things a person approved in Studio are not undone by an AI.

What waits for a person

Anything that sends email or messages, publishes to the public, or charges money becomes a request in AI → Approvals. See Approving What Your AI Asks to Do.
