The Facilities module ships with three public pages you can link to from your website or embed via iframe — no Studio login required.
Public room calendar
URL pattern: https://your-org.usestudio.app/facilities/calendar/your-workspace-slug
Shows every reservation flagged as Public. Useful for letting your community see what's happening at the facility each week. Internal-only bookings stay hidden.
Public work order request form
URL pattern: https://your-org.usestudio.app/facilities/request/your-workspace-slug
Anyone can submit a maintenance request without logging in — name, email, what's broken, what room, and up to 3 photos. The form is rate-limited (10 submissions per IP per hour) to prevent spam. Submissions land in your work orders list as Open, and your team is notified.
Public room status board
URL pattern: https://your-org.usestudio.app/facilities/status/your-workspace-slug
A live grid of every reservable, public space, color-coded for current availability (green available, red occupied, yellow starting soon). Designed to run on a lobby TV or to embed on your website. Auto-refreshes every minute.
Public room-request / booking form
People outside Studio can request a room without a login. There are two ways to offer this:
- Facility Reservation Request form — a ready-made form (in the Forms module, slug
facility-reservation) you can share as a link or embed on your website. Edit its fields like any other form. A submission that names a space and a time is turned into a pending reservation for your team to approve, and the requester is tagged as a "Facility Renter" in People. - Quick booking page —
https://your-org.usestudio.app/facilities/book/your-workspace-slug. A lightweight page that lists your reservable spaces and checks for conflicts as the request comes in. This is the same page the "Book a room" button on the tablet-pairing screen points to.
Either way, public requests are never auto-approved — they land as pending reservations so staff stay in control. (This is separate from the public work order request form above, which creates a maintenance request, not a room booking.)
How to make a space appear publicly
On the space's settings, turn on the Public toggle. Spaces with this off stay internal and never show on the public calendar or status board.
