Set your weekly hours, days off, and extra hours

Booking

Hours belong to a host, not to the booking type, so two people on the same type can keep completely different schedules.

Who edits them

Either of you. An administrator sets them on the booking type, and the host keeps them up to date themselves from My Booking in their avatar menu. It is the same set of hours from both screens.

Weekly hours

On the booking type, find the host and tick each day they are available, then set a start and end time. These repeat every week until you change them.

Untick a day and save to stop offering it.

Need a lunch break? Set the day to end at noon and use extra hours to reopen the afternoon, or block the middle with a day-off entry.

Blocking time off

Under Days off & extra hours, pick a date and choose Block this time.

  • Leave the times blank to close the whole day — vacation, a holiday.
  • Fill in a start and end to close part of a day — an 11 to 12 blackout leaves the morning and afternoon open around it.

Adding extra hours

Choose Add extra hours to open time your weekly hours do not cover — a one-off Saturday morning. Extra hours need both a start and an end time.

Timezones

Set the host's timezone if it differs from the organization's. Their hours are read on their own clock, so "9am" stays 9am for them through daylight saving, and visitors see the correctly converted time in whatever timezone they are in.
