Testing, scheduling, and sending

Email Campaigns

Three ways a campaign leaves the building — always test first.

Send a test

Send test emails a copy to an address you choose (usually yourself). A test doesn't touch your audience, your counts, or your quota — it's purely a proof. Check it on your phone too.

Send now

Send now delivers to the whole audience immediately. Studio renders the email once, personalizes each copy (first name, unsubscribe link), and hands them to the mail service.

Schedule for later

Schedule picks a future date and time — great for lining up a newsletter to go out at a good hour. A scheduled campaign shows its send time and can be cancelled any time before it fires, which drops it back to a draft you can edit.

Requirements before sending

You need a subject and an audience. Studio also requires a mailing address on file (for the compliant footer) — set it in Email Settings if prompted.
