Every block you can add to an email, and what it does.
Basics
- Title — a bold section heading, left/center/right aligned.
- Text — a rich-text paragraph area with bold, links, and lists. Use
@{{first_name}}anywhere to merge in each recipient's first name. - Image — a single image. Choose Full width (edge to edge) or Padded, set an optional link, and optionally set a crop height then drag to reposition the focal point.
- Button — a call-to-action button with text and a URL, in your Link color.
- Divider — a thin horizontal line between sections.
- Spacer — adjustable vertical whitespace.
Layouts
- Image + Text — an image beside a text block, with the image on the left or right and an optional button underneath. The image supports the same height crop + reposition as the Image block.
- Two columns — two side-by-side text columns, each with an optional button. (For image tiles, use Cards.)
- Image grid — a gallery of images, 2 or 3 per row, all cropped to one shape (Square, Landscape, or Portrait) so the grid looks tidy.
- Cards — a row of image + title + text cards, 2 or 3 per row, with the same shape control for the images.
About image shapes and cropping
When you pick a shape (Square / Landscape / Portrait) or set a crop height, Studio actually crops the image to that shape for you, so it looks identical in every email app — including Outlook — and lines up neatly. Everything reflows to a clean 2-up grid on phones.
