Sometimes the person whose opinion you need does not have a login — a client's printer, a board member, somebody's business partner.
Creating the link
Open the review and press Share in the top bar. You get a link that works with no account. You choose whether people on it can comment or only look.
What a guest can and cannot do
- Can see the design and every comment on it.
- Can leave comments, if you allowed it — they are asked for a name first, so nothing is anonymous.
- Cannot approve or request changes. A sign-off comes from a named person on the project.
- Cannot see the project around it — only the design you shared.
Turning it off
Switch sharing off and the link stops working immediately, for everybody who already has it. Turning it back on creates a new link — the old one stays dead. That is deliberate: "stop sharing" has to actually kill a URL somebody already has, not just hide a button.
Internal work is never shareable
A review on an internal project, or one made from a file attached to a staff-only comment, cannot be shared publicly at all. The share button will tell you so.
