Design review lets people comment on the exact spot on a design instead of describing it. Rather than "the logo at the top looks small on the second page", somebody clicks the logo and types "too small". The comment lives on that pixel, so nobody has to guess.
What you can do
- Pin comments anywhere on an image, a PDF, artwork, or a video frame.
- Frame, point at, or circle the thing you mean, not just drop a dot.
- Talk it through — every pin is a small conversation with replies.
- Tag someone with
@and they hear about it by name. - Upload a revision and keep every round of feedback exactly where it was written.
- Approve or send it back, with the decision recorded against that round.
- Share a link with someone outside the portal who has no login.
Where it lives
On a project. Open any project and you will find a Design review card listing what is out for review. Files attached anywhere on that project — the attachment grid, a comment, a note — grow a Review button when you hover them.
Clients see the same card in the client portal, and can review and comment there without any extra setup.
What can be reviewed
Most things you would send a client. Images (JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, SVG), PDFs (every page becomes its own reviewable page), Illustrator and Photoshop files, InDesign documents, and video (MP4, MOV) where comments carry a timestamp instead of a page number. A live web page can be captured and reviewed too.
Files we cannot draw — a ZIP, a Word document, a spreadsheet — simply do not get the Review button.
