The Location View is a live display that shows volunteers exactly who is checked into their room right now.
How to access it
Each location has its own URL: usestudio.app/checkin/location/{location_id}. Open it on a tablet or screen in the classroom. Your admin can find the location ID on the Locations page.
What it shows
- Room name and count — large number showing how many kids are currently checked in (and capacity if set).
- Kid cards — each child's name, age, grade, security code, and check-in time.
- Allergies highlighted in red — if a child has allergies, they're immediately visible so you can plan for snacks and activities.
Auto-refresh
The Location View automatically refreshes every 30 seconds. As new kids check in or get picked up, the display updates without anyone touching it.
