The check-in station is a simple web page that runs on any device — iPad, laptop, tablet, or phone. Parents use it to check their kids in and out.
Getting the device onto a station
You do this once per device, not once per family. Your workspace has a single station hub URL — yourworkspace.studiofoyer.co/checkin, or your custom domain if you have one. Copy it from Check-Ins → Stations using Copy link.
- Open the hub URL on the iPad, tablet, or computer.
- Enter your station code if you have set one. The device stays signed in all day — parents never see this step.
- Pick the station from the list.
Each individual station also still has its own direct URL if you prefer to bookmark one per device. Using the Studio Check-In app instead of a browser? Enter the 6-digit app code shown on the same screen — that is what lets it print labels instantly.
Checking in
- Type your phone number, last name, or email in the search bar.
- Tap your family name from the results.
- Select the children you want to check in — each one shows their assigned room.
- Tap Check In. Labels will print automatically if a printer is connected.
- Grab your labels and head to the assigned rooms.
Checking out
- Switch to the Check Out tab at the top of the station.
- Enter your security code (the 3-character code on your parent receipt) or your phone number.
- Confirm the children you're picking up.
- Tap Confirm Check Out.
New family registration
If your phone number isn't found, tap "New Family? Sign Up Here" at the bottom. You'll fill out:
- Parent/guardian name and phone number
- Each child's name, last name, date of birth
- Allergies for each child (required — select "None" if no allergies)
After signing up, you'll go straight to the child selection screen to check in.
Tips
- The station auto-resets after 30 seconds of inactivity, so the next family gets a fresh screen.
- You can bookmark the station URL on your iPad for quick access every week.
- The station works offline briefly if WiFi drops — check-ins queue and sync when reconnected.
