Rally is crowdfunding for a person, not an organization. Someone raising money for a friend's medical bills, an adoption, a funeral, a house fire — that's a rally. If you're an organization raising money for your mission, you want the Giving module instead.
What you get
- A public page with your story, a photo, a goal, and a running total.
- A share link and QR code — most rallies are shared by text and social, so both are one click away.
- Donations without a login. Supporters give with a name, email, and card. They can give anonymously, and they can choose to cover the fees so the full amount reaches you.
- A money tab showing exactly what was raised, what came off in fees, and what you'll receive.
What it costs
Studio's fee is 2.5% of what you raise. Card processing is charged separately by Stripe at their standard rate. Nothing up front, no monthly fee, and nothing at all if you never raise anything.
The cover the fees option is switched on and pre-ticked on rally pages. When a supporter leaves it ticked, they add the fees to their gift and your total isn't reduced.
One-time gifts only
Rallies take one-time gifts. There's no monthly-giving option, because a rally is a finite, urgent thing that ends — recurring support belongs in the Giving module.
Getting started
You don't set up payments to start. Create the rally, share it, and collect. You only provide bank and ID details when you go to withdraw — see Getting paid out.
