Exporting Your Giving from Fellowship One

Imports

Fellowship One (F1) exports giving through its report library. You'll run report G1050, Core Giving Records (v3.0), choose which columns to include, then queue it for download.

Steps

  1. Sign in to Fellowship One.
  2. Open Reports (far right of the menu bar).
  3. Search for and open G1050 (Core Giving Records v3.0).
  4. Under Return Giving Records, set:
    • Based on this date: Received Date
    • Week starts on: Sunday
    • Occurring within this Date Range: Custom Date Range
    • Occurring after this time, Occurring before this time, and Belonging to Batches: set each to Ignore This: this is required, or the report will error out.
  5. Under Choose Fields, select your columns:
    • Gift columns: All Trans by ID; ACH/Check/Cash/BankCard; Batch Date; Batch Name; Contribution or Receipt; Create Date; Fund; Sub Fund; Memo; Received Date; Reference (check number).
    • Contributor columns: Contributor ID; Contributor Full Name; Contributor Last Name; Email; Phone Number; Giving Unit ID; Giving Unit Full Name; Household/Individual/Organization; Mem/Envelope #.
    • Primary Address columns and Grand Total columns: leave on Ignore.
  6. Set Display total amount to Yes, sort by Received Date & Time, set Output to labels to No, and choose Excel as the output type.
  7. Click Run Report, then open the Queue link (top black bar) and download the file once it's ready.

Two Things to Watch

  • Leave the three Ignore This fields set. F1 fails to run this report if they aren't.
  • Include the Household/Individual/Organization column so donor names come through correctly.

The report comes out as Excel. Studio reads the .xlsx directly, or you can save it as a CSV first.
