Studio notifies you when important things happen — new comments, @mentions, assignments, deadlines, and more. You control exactly what lands in your inbox, what shows up in the app, and when it reaches you.
The Notification Bell
The bell icon in the header shows a count of unread in-app notifications. Click it to review recent activity without leaving the page you’re on.
Customizing Your Preferences
Open your profile (click your avatar, then My Account) and choose the Notifications tab. Every control autosaves the moment you change it — no Save button to click.
Notify Me About
Choose how much activity you want to hear about. Pick one:
- All activity — projects, comments, messages, assignments, and status changes.
- Only @mentions and direct messages — stay focused; everything else is still visible inside Studio when you visit.
Advance Notice
Heads-ups for things coming your way:
- Due date approaching — a reminder the day before a task or project deadline.
- New assignment — when a task gets assigned to you.
Sites & Plugins
If your workspace manages websites, you’ll also see a Sites & Plugins section with toggles for plugin updates, deploys, mode changes, new site connections, plugin activation, and deploy results. This section is hidden automatically when you have no sites connected.
Delivery Method
Pick where your notifications go — you can use either, or both:
- Email — delivered to your inbox. Rapid-fire updates are bundled together so you don’t get flooded.
- In-app — the bell icon badge plus the recent-activity list inside Studio.
Activity (Quiet Hours)
Decide when notifications reach you:
- Anytime — deliver around the clock, including evenings and weekends.
- Business hours only — Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm in your time zone. Anything outside that window waits until you’re back.
One Profile, Everywhere
Your notification preferences live on your Studio identity, so they apply no matter which workspace, client portal, or donor account you’re viewing. Change them once and they follow you everywhere.
