Creating a job posting

Careers

Job postings are the unit of the Careers module. Each posting is one role, with its own application form and applicant pipeline.

Create a posting

  1. Sidebar → Careers.
  2. Click Post a Job.
  3. Fill in:
    • Title — required. The headline candidates see ("Director of Youth Ministry").
    • Department / category — optional grouping for filtering.
    • Location — city, state, "Remote", or "Hybrid".
    • Employment type — Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Volunteer, Internship.
    • Salary range — optional. Posted publicly if filled in.
    • Description — rich text. Mission, responsibilities, qualifications, how to apply.
    • Application questions — beyond the defaults (name, email, resume), add any custom questions you want candidates to answer.
  4. Save as Draft while you work on it.
  5. When ready, click Publish. The posting appears on your public careers page.

Edit or unpublish

You can edit a posting anytime. Toggling Publish off hides it from the public page but preserves all existing applications.

Closing a position

Once you've hired, unpublish the posting. The application list remains so you can keep records, but no new candidates can apply.
