Help Center Forms After someone submits: confirmation, redirect & emails

After someone submits: confirmation, redirect & emails

Forms

What happens after a submission is set on the form's Confirmation settings.

Confirmation message

  • Write a custom thank-you message (formatted text) shown on screen after submitting. Leave it blank for the default "Submitted!"
  • Add up to two buttons (links or a file) below the message — e.g. "Back to our site" or "Download the guide."

Redirect to your own page

Prefer to send people somewhere else? Turn on Redirect to a custom URL and paste a link. After a successful submission (and payment, if any) the visitor is sent straight there instead of seeing the confirmation screen. Available on every form except client-portal forms.

Emails

  • Confirmation to the submitter — if the form captured an email, the person automatically gets a branded confirmation with their responses (and an itemized receipt on payment forms).
  • Notification to your team — add addresses under "Who gets notified" to be emailed each submission.
  • Conditional notifications — email specific people only when an answer matches a rule (e.g. "if Department is Youth, email the youth pastor").
  • Sender identity — set the From name/email; the From email must be on your workspace's verified sending domain, otherwise the workspace default is used.
