You don't have to move your website to Studio to use Studio. Your events, groups, forms, giving, and membership signup can all appear on a site you already run — WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, a hand-built site, anything that lets you paste HTML.
Three ways to do it
- An iframe — works on any platform that accepts an HTML block. This is the general answer.
- A WordPress shortcode — if your site is WordPress and you have the Studio Connect plugin, this is tidier and sizes itself automatically.
- A calendar subscription — for events, so people can subscribe in their own calendar app.
Where to get the code
Every embeddable thing has a Share & Embed panel in Studio that builds the snippet in front of you as you change the options. Set it up the way you want it, then copy. Don't hand-write these from memory — let the panel do it.
- Events → Share & Embed
- Groups → Share & Embed
- Forms → the form's share panel
- Donation forms → the share panel on the form
- Memberships → the share panel on the membership
- Sponsorships → Sponsorships → Embeds
Nothing to set up, nothing to rotate
For events and groups there is no embed to create and no key to issue. The snippet is just a URL with a few options on the end, so you change how it looks by editing one word in your own page — no going back into Studio, no republishing.
These embeds show exactly what your public pages show: published events, and groups that are active and open for enrollment. Nothing private is reachable through one, which is why they need no password.
Sponsorships work differently and do issue a key, because a sponsoree list can contain people who aren't published yet.
It stays current on its own
An embed reads live from Studio. Add an event, close enrollment on a group, change a price — your website reflects it immediately. There is nothing to re-paste.
