Campuses & Locations

Campuses (called "Locations" for businesses) let you organize your people, events, giving, and scheduling by physical location — without needing separate accounts or workspaces.

How it works

Your organization has one workspace in Studio. Inside that workspace, you add campuses. Each campus has a name, address, and timezone. Then you can:

  • Assign people to a primary campus — their donations, event signups, and schedule assignments are stamped with it.
  • Filter by campus — most lists and dashboards let you filter to see just one campus at a time.
  • Assign service types and teams to a campus — so Downtown's worship band is separate from Northside's.
  • Let donors pick a campus on every donation form — the active campus list is rendered read-only on each form so donors can earmark gifts; you manage it from one place.

Who should use campuses?

  • Multi-site churches with two or more physical locations sharing one leadership structure.
  • Agencies with multiple offices that want to organize clients and projects by location.
  • Nonprofits with regional chapters that share one account but operate in different areas.

When NOT to use campuses

If your locations have separate bank accounts, separate tax IDs, or completely independent operations, you should use separate workspaces instead. Campuses are for locations that share administration and want one unified view with the ability to filter.
